Marriage, divorce, birth, and death records can be obtained through the Department of Health and Environmental Control. Marriage records can also be requested through Probate court, and divorce records can be obtained from Family Court.

To submit an open records request, you can contact the Greenville County Attorney’s Office. You can also contact departments directly. An open records request is simply an official request to view particular public government or agency documents.

Plan Copy $2.00 per page.
Search Fee $17.07/hour

Deeds, which are legal documents regarding the ownership of property or legal rights, can also be obtained from the Register of Deeds. There’s an online portal to view records.
